Do you know the difference between singing and stinging? It's just one line, one 't'. So around 88% are identical, 12% are different. But stinging has nothing in common with singing. Today we live in a time when many things are considered very similar. Also in the field of religion: it doesn't really matter whether you believe in God or are a Buddhist, an Islamist, a Jew, and so on. This reminds me of the singing example. As a Christian, I believe that I get access to heaven and eternal life through Jesus alone, because he simply offers and gives it to me without my asking for anything in return. I think that is more than 12% difference from other religions where I have to work hard and yet am not sure if I can make it to paradise or where I have to be born again and again to get better. Such a difference, perhaps small for some, nevertheless has a far-reaching effect. At the latest in eternity. And this lasts a relatively long time...
