There is usually a salt and pepper shaker on each table in a catering establishment. What they have in common is that the size of the shakers is easy to hold with one hand, they are easy to sprinkle and they can be refilled. They are therefore nothing more than containers that provide the actual contents in portions. In fact, the company could simply place a kilo pack of salt and a jar of peppercorns on the table. There would be no difference in terms of content - but firstly it would be less inviting and secondly - especially as far as the peppercorns are concerned - less suitable for use. Although the host probably buys the salt in large quantities and has it available, he still takes the time and trouble to fill it into the sprinkling containers in portions. A measured supply is not only more inviting, but also more user-friendly. This applies to many things, including information, relationships and much more.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
