There is a saying "to see and to be seen" and this expresses how we actually want to keep up to date with, for example, celebrities, and at the same time want to be noticed and thus perhaps attend events not for the sake of it, but because our need for attention from others is greater. We need to be noticed - to be seen. It is a basic need of ours and woe to those who do not have this basic need met. They can sometimes force themselves to have this need met in a gruesome way. On this background, it fascinates me that John, the author of Revelation, describes in the fourth chapter of his book how he saw beast-like beings with wings that were full of eyes and had no rest. For me, this expresses: God cares that He sees us, or in other words: we are so to speak on his loving radar or in His vision. I wish you for today that you see how much you are seen and noticed.
