Reversi is a board game with 2 opponents, each with one colour of stones, white and black. The board is a regular grid of squares on which you may place your pieces. You may only place stones on squares that have a neighbouring square that is already occupied. If white places a piece in such a way that one or more black pieces are adjacent to it in a line and at the end of the line there is another white piece - i.e. all black pieces are enclosed by two white pieces - these black pieces become white. I like the analogy: as a Christian, I believe that God has very good intentions for my life and wants to do good to me - that is the white stone at the very end of the line. There may be dark stones of fear etc. in front of me. But when I come into agreement with God's good intentions - i.e. place my white stone - I believe that all the supposedly negative situations in front of me - the black stones - must turn and become good. Because I am in alignment with God's good thoughts about me. Try it out and see what will turn around!
