When we were children, we used to wear a pellicle or one of those yellow, sturdy rain jackets that were guaranteed not to let any water through. So you were 100 per cent protected from the outside moisture. However, the disadvantage was that these jackets did not allow for breathability, as is the case today with modern rainwear. As a result, you naturally sweated when you moved around or when it was warm. From a critical point of view, you could say that you didn't get wet from the rain, but from your own sweat. For me, this example stands for an attitude that sometimes you want to prevent something at all costs, but don't even realise at what price and sometimes in what contradiction this happens. This is called principles. As if someone who consistently refrains from violence does not intervene when a child is beaten up in front of them. Just as a matter of principle.
