When I was a child, the saying went ‘A real boy or man always has a pocket knife in his trouser pocket.’ I didn't have one back then as a child because it was too dangerous for me. Today, I actually always have such a knife with me - unless I have to travel with hand luggage on a plane, where this is now forbidden. It gets to the point that if you forget it, you feel almost naked or simply not ready or equipped for what is to come, the feeling that something essential or something that belongs to you is missing. Strange. A simple knife that I don't need every day, by the way, but when I do, it's very practical. But I could do without it. Do you perhaps also have habits that have become so dear to you that you miss them when you don't have them and, if so, are they good ones or ones that you should get rid of?!!
