Let's be honest - man or woman. Most of us had a favourite plushie or something similar in childhood. It was dear and precious to us and accompanied us for many years and felt as if it was actually alive. Maybe you still have yours or have even passed it on to your own children or a next generation. Maybe you feel embarrassed about that now... Either way, I think the example shows us how much we are very emotional beings, despite our heavily westernised cognitive way of life. In other words, needy beings who need not only food and external protection, but also very, very much good relationships. Daily. Relationships characterised by strong trust, loyalty, openness and reliability. I wish you that you may experience such relationships today and the support, strength and blessing they give you. And I wish you that they are real people and not stuffed animals. And hopefully you can be for someone else such a source of strength today.
