There is a phrase or idiom which means: on the whole. What is meant here is a way of looking at a situation that is as all-encompassing. I am currently working with others on a project in which some things are not running ideally. For example, there are those who do their work very reliably and do what they have to do and what they were asked to do - but they don't see the connections, the links to other areas or employees and their tasks. The result is a lot of frustration because information is not passed on etc. So it can also happen quickly in our everyday life that we just manage days without seeing the big picture of our vocation. I believe this is important so that we live in and towards what we were created for - then we will rise to greatness and feel comfortable like a fish in the water - in the whole water! Therefore, don't let your calling get out of your sight!
