In statistics, particularly when visualising data, so-called outliers often stand out. In a bar chart, for example, these are the bars that stand out particularly high, noticeably higher than all the others. Or a distribution of points that forms a dense cluster, with only a few points clearly outside it. Depending on the subject and data material, a huge amount of resources are then used to deal with these outliers and to find out why they occur. Sometimes even the statistical model is called into question. What is forgotten is that the vast majority are inconspicuous. It is the same with us humans. Some attract a great deal of attention , while others are lost in the crowd. Which one are you and are you happy with that or would you rather be with the others? Should you sometimes stand out from the crowd or consciously integrate into it?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
