Nutshell
The Latin expression ‘in nuce’ - i.e. literally ‘in a nut’ - means: summarised, in essence, the core message. If you take this image and think about it further, you realise that the kernel of a nut is not so easily accessible. There is the hard shell that protects the kernel well and breaking it open without destroying or damaging the kernel is not so easy and requires - at least from us humans - a certain amount of dexterity and possibly even suitable tools. These days, we are surrounded by an enormous amount of information, images, news, messages, social media and much more. Finding the core of what is really important to us is not always easy. We tend to struggle with the problem that too much is accessible to us. Where could you consciously take a nutshell measurement today in order to really stick to the core, to what is really important and essential and leave out everything else?
