We all experience and practise it every day - sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously: non-verbal communication. In a good case it is the case that I understand someone - as they say - blindly. This means that we don't have to say a word, maybe just a look, and we know exactly what's going on in the other person's mind or what needs to be done. When it's not so good, it's dirty looks, suspicion, contempt or indifference, communicated by posture, looks and perhaps many other things. Unfortunately, this communication often continues on this channel and in most cases does not create a real dialogue, but just more mutual accusations and reproaches, or worse. The remedy is to talk. Create clarity. Ask questions and point out the non-verbal. Expose it. Sometimes the other person is embarrassed or unaware, or it helps to resolve tensions in this way, or: it clarifies. Verbally rather than non-verbally.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
