Nobody likes to touch a hot potato, but sometimes it has to be done. I'll take the Pope as an example. There are people who don't care about him, don't take him seriously or see him as an old relic, or are annoyed by all the pomp, consider him completely superfluous, even harmful to the development of the church and in dealing with specific issues, etc. Others almost worship him like God himself. Who is right? All of them? None of them? In this case, I think it helps to go back in history and to realise how this task came about. Peter was appointed by Jesus as a shepherd, as the person responsible for this disorganised group of believers, to take care of them, to take responsibility and to continue Jesus' vision and mission. If the Pope continues to do this, I think it's fine. I don't want to get involved in the often peripheral issues, but rather understand the core and find consensus there. That way the hot potato cools down.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
