In German, we have two proverbs about hands: having your hands full and standing empty-handed. The first means you have no more capacity for anything else and the latter you have lost everything or have nothing. Both are not necessarily meant in a positive way. But it is precisely the latter that is deceptive in its message: it is actually good to have empty hands - because then we are free to receive. And perhaps the negative aspect of the proverb is not so much the fact of empty hands as the fact of standing there. With empty hands, you can also rest or otherwise go on and tackle something. Either way, I encourage you, if you feel empty in an area of your life, to focus on the fact that this is not negative, but the best prerequisite for receiving something new. And therefore you may be full of expectation in this emptiness. So instead of empty - full: full of expectation!

I wish you an extraordinary day!
