There are many images of prisons: Perhaps a heavily guarded high-security wing or one surrounded by barbed wire, or a barren cell with a tiny little window that is also barred. These are all external representations of the physical restrictions that prisoners are subject to. In other words, restrictions that massively impair or even destroy actual personal freedom. But there are also internal prisons and detention centres. Constraints, fears and more. These are not immediately recognisable or visible, but they are just as real. Today, I think one of these prisons is opportunism, the obsessive desire for constant freedom: not wanting to commit to anything, being non-committal to the last in order not to be tied down or to be free to be spontaneous at any cost. The wolf in sheep's clothing. Prison as supposed freedom. Are you really free?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
