When we were children, we used to go to the swimming pool in the summer. It was called Eglisee. It's a compound name and actually means a lake where there are perch. It always amazed me and I wondered if such a lake had really existed there in the past. It probably did. Today there is nothing left of it except the name. But the name is a contemporary witness. That's the case with many place names. With population growth and increasing urbanisation, many of these natural features are disappearing and only the names remain. And yet they are witnesses to a reality. It is similar with everything we know in the non-material realm: Hope, love, trust, fear, uncertainty, premonition, etc. These are realities that we do not see, but we know they exist. Faith is part of this, and for me the real existence of a loving God with whom we can have a deep relationship. For you too?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
