I imagine having a fir branch in front of me. Advent, the run-up to Christmas, spontaneously comes to mind. Branches of fir laid out on a table with candles or on colourful, Advent napkins. Yet the German Christmas carol ‘O fir tree’ says that it is green all year round. So the fir branch doesn't necessarily have to remind me of this special time at the end of the year. And yet it does. Experiences, adventures. These shape our memories and therefore the interpretation of certain elements. And we do the same with people: with very specific people or sometimes just with names. This can be nice, but sometimes also unfair. When negative experiences trigger associations that prevent other people from leaving these negative experiences behind. Perhaps today is a moment to let go of the old, release it and become open to new experiences and imprints.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
