I am a fan of the local football club, FC Basel. I'm not one of those people who own a season ticket and watch every home game in the stadium. But when I can, I watch at least some of the games on my computer via a streaming service. There were times when the club was very successful and as a fan you are filled with a certain pride. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case in the recent past. Then being a fan is hard, because the rule is that you lose or only draw, but rarely win. That also affects your own emotions. You are somehow very emotionally involved and yet actually powerless over the outcome of the games. There are moments like that in life: you feel powerless, you have little influence and yet the events affect you, at least emotionally. If it doesn't end well, you don't feel well either. How do you deal with that? Do you have an unshakeable source of hope?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
