In the darker months of the year, there are things that we only use during these weeks. Things like running the heating or wearing a down jacket. This also includes lighting candles. Especially during Advent, but also in the first months of a new year. Candlelight is something special. More than just light, more than just a small source of warmth. There is something metaphysical about it, and I feel that in front of such a candle I somehow become a child again, or come into contact with childlike traits within myself. I mean that in a positive way. It's as if, in front of a burning candle, everything that would otherwise be important suddenly becomes meaningless: Social status, age, achievements, fame, notoriety, etc. In front of such a small light, we are all the same. And then the question arises: what really matters in life? What gives us true joy, lasting inner peace, balance? Time for a candlelit moment today?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
