I dreamt last night that I was in some kind of church service and suddenly we were all told to pray and pray loudly. That's what happened. But somehow I was totally overwhelmed because everyone was talking loudly and I couldn't understand anything in the babble of voices. I was overwhelmed because I thought I couldn't hear or understand the individual voices or hear what the individual request was. Impossible. When I woke up and remembered this scene, I was overwhelmed by how real this scenario is: all over the world, people are praying to God at all times, around the clock, whenever they feel like it - and how many there may be at the same time is totally beyond my comprehension. What an inconceivable greatness of God that He nevertheless, despite all this simultaneity, hears the prayer of each individual clearly and does not forget. Overwhelming for me. Even better: dreamlike!
