In our culture, dragons - i.e. animals - are dangerous creatures that threaten people with their violence, power and evilness. In numerous stories, myths and tales, there are therefore always heroes who bravely face up to the fight against these creatures and heroically defeat them in the end. However, dragons are not considered evil in all cultures. In China, they are considered lucky charms and represent power, strength and prosperity. What a contrast! I can't really get my head round the idea that a dragon is a good thing. In our Christian context, the dragon is explicitly a representative of evil. In the Book of Revelation by John, it is used as a synonym for the devil, the old serpent. And finally defeated. By whom? By a lamb. What contrasts here too. Once again, God's strength is revealed in the supposedly weak. I hope that this encourages you in your challenges.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
