A good 2000 years ago, the following story took place: Jesus retreats with his friends to the border region of Israel. There he is recognised by a foreign woman who runs after him and shouts that he should please help her sick daughter. Against all our expectations of Jesus, he ignores her. Only when the disciples are annoyed by the persistence of the woman calling for help does Jesus approach her, but explains to her that she is not part of his target group for his mission. She is not impressed or put off by this and persists, saying something like: Jesus, I accept your focus and mission, but you have so much to give, my request to you is peanuts. Jesus is surprised and impressed by this answer and finally helps the woman. Remarkable for me: Jesus as the Son of God allows himself to be surprised by our behaviour. Omniscient and yet impressionable, open to relationships. Does this also correspond to your image of God?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
