I belong to the generation that has been able to follow the development of computer games. In the beginning, you could only play very simple games that couldn't show upright, real-looking objects because of the low resolution of the screens. You could play Tetris or Pacman or other games. One of these games involved shooting down enemy spaceships flying towards you. If you managed to fight your way through the onslaught of enemies, you would advance to the next, more difficult level. Otherwise you crashed and the game was over. Or you had a spare life or two to start again. In everyday life, sometimes a lot of bad things come our way and we fight back. If we are strong enough, we manage to keep it all at a healthy distance. Otherwise it hits us and we feel 'game-over', failed. But we only have one life. But as Christians we also know about forgiveness. And with it new life, infinitely often, if we go to God with it. Game-over has been hanging on a wooden cross for 2000 years. Thanks be to God.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
