When my parents were younger, smoking was cool. Even in my generation to some extent. Then, of course, smoking was always associated with the aspect of addiction. Not without good reason. But at the same time there was also the reality of pride and arrogance - among those who did not smoke towards smokers. We still observe similar phenomena today. But the fact is: we all have our weaknesses, character-flaws, areas in life where we are anything but successful or sovereign. We are - whether we want to admit it or not - imperfect. Or better, I think: unfinished! I believe our original design is perfection - but not out of ourselves, but given, placed within us, designed by a Creator. Although we have lost that perfection, there is still an offer from heaven to be perfected into our original purpose by the Creator. Grace. For you and me.
