China is a huge country with presumably very different regions, population groups, traditions and also languages or dialects. In our media, China is often not presented in a very positive light in a political context. This creates an image of the country, the people, the politicians etc. This is certainly not completely false, because our media do not spread obvious lies. But it is our view, shaped by our culture, our values and our ethics. And when China reports about us in a similar way, we see it as defamation or confirmation of the image we have of this country. What happens in world politics also happens between people, in our country. We judge each other according to our own ideas and values - but is this always justified? Perhaps a day to consciously take a different view of another person and at least question our own interpretations.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
