When I was a boy, a royal palace for me was only one that was a fortress or stronghold. A castle like Versailles I felt was just a big house. But a stronghold usually has - compared to the a palace or castle - less space, is more inaccessible and sometimes you are locked inside. A palace on the other hand is spacious, has many and large rooms. When you grow up like that, it also influences the way you deal with others: Generosity is the norm. But if you grow up in a small three-room apartment, it's different. Jesus once said in a passage that he goes to the Father to prepare a home for us. I think that's a beautiful image - and I'm already looking forward to this new home - and I'm sure it won't be a small three-room flat, but a spacious palace with lots of room and not an inaccessible, secluded stronghold designed for defence. I hope to see you there at the latest!
I wish you an extraordinary day!
