At home, we had various carpets in our flat where we grew up. We mainly had single pieces and no fitted carpets. The carpets all had fringes at both ends and we even had a comb with which we could, or were allowed to, or had to, straighten them out nice and parallel again. If the fringes got mixed up because someone walked over them, it looked messy. Carpet fringes are really only an aesthetic embellishment and serve no functional purpose. But when the fringes are nicely aligned, the carpet also looks much more, somehow more valuable. I invite you to see the beauty and not the practicality or functionality in the people you meet today, and therefore to look at their individual beauty much more and enjoy it - it may well be that this is a door and access to your own unique beauty with which you were created.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
