It won't be long before we're lighting candles again. The thinner the candle, the faster it burns down, and the bigger and thicker it is, the longer it takes to burn down. Ergo: the amount of wax determines the life of the candle. It is the wax, together with the wick and oxygen, that makes candlelight possible, it is the wax that burns and makes the flame possible. Have you ever tried to watch the burning process and see how quickly it happens? Even with the very thin candles used in church, I can't. I can only observe a change over time. But how it happens is beyond my ability to observe. That's the way it is with many things in life: we know it, we know it works, but we still can't influence it. Basic trust. Trust that what you expect will happen - that is what I wish for you today in the important areas of your life.
