Have you ever come across the term calligraphy? It is a compound term and literally means: beautiful writing. So it's about the art of beautiful writing. I like such calligraphic works because they have something artistic and noble about them. In surveying, until a few decades ago, the land register sheets, which were maintained on aluminium boards in the offices, were also provided with calligraphic parcel designations created by hand. This calligraphy can therefore lend additional meaning or beauty and weight to the term that is formulated with it. But... too much can also be too much: if the beauty of the graphics distracts more from the content, it may be that the beautiful writing style is admired more than the content or the message. And that is how we sometimes behave and it is not wrongly said: more appearance than reality. What is more important to you in your life: appearance or substance?
