Our pinna is a fascinating organ. As a funnel-shaped organ, it serves to capture sound waves and transmit them to the eardrum, while also exerting an amplifying effect. furthermore, it is capable of determining the location of the sound source so that we can perceive where what we hear is coming from. So on the one hand the perception in the first place, then the amplification and localisation. Clever part and clever designer! So we hear without having to align ourselves specifically! It's quite different with the eyes or vision, for example! We cannot perceive what is happening behind us with our eyes, but we can with our hearing. We are also able to filter familiar sounds from a mixture of different sound sources - for example, the voice of a familiar person from a multitude of voices. This also works internally if we practise it: recognising which thoughts and impulses come from which source: good or bad. Today, consciously perceive this in your inner dialogues.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
