Whether the height difference is small or large, above a certain height we usually have to use an auxiliary structure. This can be a staircase or a ramp. This helps and we are able to overcome the height difference, get to the higher level and continue walking there. However, there is always a cost in terms of extra space: both a staircase and a ramp require extra space and distance to overcome. The only alternatives are a lift or a ladder. A lift also requires space and a constant power supply, and a ladder means you have to use your hands. So you can't go up without investing. Full stop. It may be worth considering for your ambitions - be they personal or relational, when it comes to depth or anything else. Nevertheless, targeted investment is usually worthwhile.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
