Our autumn fair is coming up soon and balloons will be sold along with many other things. They look different today than they did when I was a child. Back then there were only round balloons, which differed only in colour and print. Today there are the classic ones - albeit rather rare - and then many modern ones made of aluminium and in almost infinitely different variations as animals, mythical creatures, symbols etc. What they all have in common is that they are filled with helium and therefore rise upwards because helium is lighter than air. And if one flies up into the sky, it hurts the owner if he doesn't consciously let it fly. For everyone else, it is a moment of joy and somehow hope. Upwards - we have a subconscious sense that there is good up there. Why is that? Perhaps a transcendent sense that not everything is here with us yet and that there is a heaven and perhaps also a good God above us?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
