Given location and area, Australia has an unlimited capacity in sustainable electricity, yet the country lags behind the rest of the world in electric vehicle purchase. EV new vehicles sales in Australia in 2020 were 0.6%. In Norway this number is 54%, with the aim to be 100% by 2025. Why is this the case and what’s being done to change it?
