TRIGGER WARNING: Abandonment, abuse, drug use, depression, trauma.
Hi there Beautiful,
Black Fathers have a huge impact on their daughters.
Fathers are supposed to protect and love their children, but what happens when the protector becomes the aggressor, violator... or just goes MIA.
Black women are still healing from the trauma inflicted on them from their Fathers and my cousin, @Tea Time with Sweet ) and I are prime examples of healing in spite of.
In this first half of our episode of "Love, Black Women" series, we explore what it means to be a Black woman navigating healing our "Daddy Issues", and what it truly means to heal from abuse, neglect, trauma and abandonment.
much love, joy and healing
Alecia
