Geoffrey Roberts, Emeritus professor of history at UCC, a member of the Royal Irish Academy and a specialist on Russian and Soviet foreign and military policy, joined Kieran to discuss his thoughts on the war in Ukraine. He told Kieran it could be time for western nations to use their morals and secure the best possible deal for Ukraine as the war is unwinnable.
