Welcome back to Listen to Your Heart. I'm Jerry. And I'm Jerry's heart. Today's topic, Repatha, Evalokimab. Heart, why'd you pick this one? Well, Jerry, for people who have had a heart attack, like us, diet and exercise might not be enough to lower the risk of another one. Okay. To help know if we're at risk, we should be getting our LDL-C, our bad cholesterol, checked, and talking to our doctor. I'm listening. And if it's still too high, Repatha can be added to a statin to lower our LDL-C and our heart attack risk.
Hmm, guess it's time to ask about Rupapa.

The Hard Shoulder with CiarĂ¡n Cotterhy. With the MG Hybrid and Electric range. On Newstalk. Now Netflix have just announced this afternoon that they are going to be launching a special documentary looking into the killing of the Irishman Jason Corbett. Ralph Regal is the southern correspondent with the Irish Independent who has covered this case in great detail right from the off. Ralph, what more can you tell us? What do we know about Netflix's plans?
Yeah, it's quite a significant documentary. It's been in the works for four years. So it's called A Deadly American Marriage. And it's very much going to be a fly on the wall, behind the scenes documentary focused on, of course, the horrific killing of Jason Corbett, a 39-year-old limerick packaging industry executive. He was a widower and a father of two.
And he was beaten to death on August 2, 2015 by Tom and Molly Martins. Molly Martins, of course, he had met when she had come to Ireland to work as a nanny for his two children. They were two years and under. And of course, Tom Martins, her father, and Jason's father-in-law was a retired FBI agent. Now, they both claimed that they...
that they had acted in self-defense, but they were convicted of Jason's murder after a very high-profile trial in August 2017 and were sentenced to 20 to 25 years in prison. They successfully appealed that murder conviction
And afterwards, prosecutors in North Carolina conceded a plea bargain deal to the father and daughter. And they ultimately spent four years and three months behind bars for this horrific killing. And of course, were released in June of last year. Do we know who has contributed to the documentary? Have the Martins, have the Corbets? Who's involved? Yes.
Yeah, both families have contributed to this documentary. So I think it's going to be quite high profile. Certainly, there are some sources that are saying that it will be the highest profile documentary released by the U.S. streaming giant this year. And not only have the two families contributed to the Netflix program, but you also have police officers, you have jurors, you have
people who worked with Jason in the US. You have people who knew Molly growing up. So you're going to get quite a significant behind-the-scenes picture, not only of the events leading up to the awful killing in August 2015, but the subsequent events. And of course, since then, I mean, the family have effectively been caught for...
For the bones, I think really with the exception of the last year, they've been caught in this kind of meat grinder of the U.S. judicial system through convictions, appeals, further appeals. And then finally, of course, the plea bargain, which happened in November of 2023 with Tom and Molly Martins being sent back to prison for a further seven months.
The 9th of May is when it's going to be launched, a deadly American marriage. Ralph Regal, Southern Correspondent with the Irish Independent. Ralph, thank you very much.
