The Chicago Bears say the cornerback job opposite Jaylon Johnson is wide open, and right now its a rookie battle between Tyrique Stevenson and Terrell Smith.

Another rookie, defensive tackle Gervon Dexter, has gotten some early praise, but head coach Matt Eberflus noted that the developmental prospect is still a work in progress.
