Before we delve into the poolside podcast idea, let me share an unforgettable moment from my 4th of July weekend. "My family and I gathered at my mother-in-law's house for a classic American cookout. We enjoyed hot dogs, burgers, and the company of loved ones. However, one particular incident involving my special-needs son and a German chocolate cake made the day even more memorable." My son would not allow us to eat the cake without singing Happy Birthday as he associates cakes with Birthdays. So there we all are singing Happy Birthday to America before we eat the German Chocolate Cake.

Did you catch the iconic Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest that saw veteran Joey Chestnut win his 16th contest after a two hour weather deal. The delay did affect the contestants ability to really ingest the hot dogs but Joey prevailed and downed 62 hot dogs to claim his 16th Mustard Belt. This was below his projected number of 71-72 hot dogs and buns but a win is a win.

Joining us on today's show will be Jeff Garcia the host of the Locked On Spurs Podcast and lead Spurs writer for KENS-5 San Antonio. We will be talking all things Spurs and how Mike Jimenez was a no show for a recent episode of Locked On Spurs. Will Jeff Garcia give Mike another chance to redeem himself find out on this episode.

We will also discuss the most recent video involving Britney Spears posted on Instagram of her dancing. This brings into question her mental well being as fans are confused by her strange behavior.
