Today's episode is a bit specific to the holidays! While these days are filled with family, friends, laughter, food, and drinks, in healthcare, we know there's another side most don't see.

We know that congestive heart failure exacerbations increase due to an increased salt intake. Patients come in with holiday heartburn and gastroenteritis from food that was left out. But, there's one diagnosis thats the scourge of the holidays...

If the holidays were Santa, then this diagnosis is the grinch that stole your admission. Today, we'll be discussing esophageal issues, primarily we'll be talking about food impactions.

This is a quick and low down dirty talk about what to do with food impactions and the background regarding certain esophageal emergencies!
