In this episode of Just Havin a Crack we go into the world of the Military and the Afghanistan conflict.Craig Turnbull, SPIN to his mates did three tours of the Afghanistan conflict with a very special brand of soldiers. Dogs, mine detection dogs. Spin's section of brave soldiers cleared the way for others to follow. Working at the very front on each patrol, dogs like Sam, Razz, Tank & Sarbi cleared the way. Both dog and handler were in constant threat of taking explosions. Their jobs were to detect mines and as we go through this podcast you will hear how the Taliban got smarter and put prices on the dogs and handlers heads. That was the impact Spin's section had on the enemy.
