Overview: Transitions to Adult Care in Patients with Chronic Medical Conditions

Objectives: To increase awareness and education for pediatric providers

Dr. Amrit Misra completed his residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship from the Detroit Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He then completed an adult congenital heart disease fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He currently is a staff physician at these hospitals through the Boston Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program. His interests include transitions of care, community health, and heart failure.
