On this instalment of The Midweek Squeeze I answer a question from one of my followers, Marissa, who wants to know how to deal with heartbreak when her fiancé walked out 5 weeks ago and she has an eight month old son. It sounds so similar to my situation so I break down how I dealt with life and being a mother in those early stages, the ways I tried to find the silver lining in my heartache, and how caring for my son helped me navigate that incredibly turbulent time.
I also discuss the importance of a morning routine and how it saved my mental health when I went through a dark period last year. I talk about the research behind it, the practices I do, and what to keep in mind when you’re fine-tuning your routine to suit your lifestyle. My morning routine was crucial in rebuilding my confidence and self worth as well as managing my anxiety and outlook on the day. Own the day or it’ll own you!
