In this episode, our guest is Danielle O'Meara, who is - was - the manager of a Customer Success Management team in a large multinational tech company. In the years following the Covid pandemic, like a social contagion, large scale layoffs have spread throughout the tech industry.

Danielle shares her experience of, together with her team, being made redundant in 2022. How did she manage? What got her through it? And as she imagines herself in the future, having lived through many more challenging experiences to come, what does she want to be known for?This conversation touches on topics like relationship building, remote team management, navigating organisational change, empathy in leadership, layoffs and team resilience. About DanielleDanielle O'Meara is an experienced leader in Customer Success, Services and Solutions, with over four years managing people, three years as part of a senior leadership team, and ten years overall in post-sales customer facing teams. She has worked within the Irish startup ecosystem where she was Head of Strategic Business Development for CustomerMinds. She has also worked in large  multinational enterprise environments as Customer Success Manager at Twilio, and most recently as Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Wix.She has a particular affinity for working with technical products, driving adoption and growth through creative and engaging customer solutions, and building deep, strategic customer relationships.
