Dr. Tim Machan, PT, DPT, SCS, OCS, COMT, CSCS is our guest this week. As Director of Integrated High Performance with the Rutgers University Big Ten Football program, Dr. Machan knows what an awesome gig in Sports PT is all about. 

Dr. Machan is also the former Program Director University of Cincinnati (UC) Sports Physical Therapy Residency. In this episode, we highlight some of the truly unbelievable career paths for a sports PT. 

Dr. Machan has held a number of these positions including treating elite athletes in private practice, working in NCAA Division I training rooms, providing care to green berets and being the Director of Integrated High Performance for Rutgers where he oversees sports medicine, strength and conditioning, the football team’s nutrition program as well as mental health, with an emphasis on coordination collaboration among departments.
