For so many of us, going into space was a childhood dream, but Winston E. Scott has made that a reality on many occasions. The veteran astronaut and retired United States Navy Captain has spent a total of 24 days in space in a remarkable career. 

Nowadays he's the Director of Operational Excellence at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex) in Florida, overseeing the Astronaut Encounter program where visitors can interact with real astronauts.
