When examine the beginning of both David and Saul's kingships, you really find more similarity's than differences. That difference however is the most consequential. One king was purified through his sin and struggling's, while the other grew further and further apart from the Lord which drove him further from those he was called to serve. One grew in earthly wisdom which is unspiritual and demonic, while the other abounded in heavenly wisdom as he was purified through his fear of God. We learned from Pastor Matthew Perot and brother Carlos Rueda in this message entitled "The Wisdom of Kings" how as kings we build the house through the 7 facets of wisdom found in the book of James.
