We were challenged! We were confronted! We are all the better for it! As believers, we know that we are to have pure, holy, and godly desires. Yet we still find that we have a whole lot more fleshly cravings and unhealthy desires than we would like to admit. In this sermon entitled “Hosanna”, Pastors Wade and Matthew illustrate for us in a honest and candid transparent message that is made to cause us to wrestling with what is going on in our hearts. There are unhealthy appetites and carnal cravings we long for that are right next to the good that we know we should do. We are not oblivious to what the word says we are to do (our king has made it known and plain to us). It is the unhealthy desires that we allow to compete and frankly we give into, in order to fulfill what is only an insatiable pit that is never satisfied. So, we say Hosanna! Lord saves us! Humble us! Transform us so that not only are our speech and deeds pure but that our heart, desire, and spiritual appetite are for righteous!
