The call of believers has always been a centrifugal call. The gospel that started in Jerusalem moved to Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth. The believers who first heard these words had another concept that kept them grounded and it was the concept of community. When a community of believers works rightly it nurtures a selfless Christ-centered attitude that is worth taking to the rest of the world. Community is where we practice so that we perform well in the world.
