We are grappling, straining with, and wrestling with the truth of God's word. That wrestling is having an impact on our very core, in a way changes how we walk. The same happened to Paul as he had an encounter with the resurrected, living word of God on the road to Damascus. This encounter produced a readiness in him that rendered him always ready for every situation. There is a readiness that is produced from being pierced by the word and that readiness is what is being cultivated in our body. Brothers Abimbola Daramola and Marlin Sosa encourage us to press into the piercing of God's word so that it makes us ready for the next situation that's in need of a son of God.
