My friend Ryan introduced me to my first book about Toltec Wisdom. It's A Separate Reality: Further Conversations with Don Juan by Carlos Castaneda. I wasn't quite ready for everything this book had to say, but it planted a seed. Years later I was given 'The Four Agreements' by Don Miguel Ruiz who is also a Toltec teacher and it all started to make sense.
