TURKISH PIPELINE RESUMES OPERATIONS AFTER EXPLOSION 土耳其一油管发生爆炸 -----------------记得点亮右下角的爱心哦----------------- 1. 2022 SHANGHAI TWO SESSIONS: SHANGHAl GDP RISES 8.1% 上海市第十五届人民代表大会第六次会议正式开幕 The sixth session of the 15th Shanghai People’s Congress opened this morning with Mayor Gong Zheng saying the city’s gross domestic product increased 8.1 percent last year. He also said the growth target for this year is 5.5%. Reporter Sun Siqi was at the opening ceremony and tells us more. 今天早上（1月20日），上海市第十五届人民代表大会第六次会议隆重开幕。上海市市长龚正表示，上海2021年的GDP增长了8.1%，而上海2022年GDP增长目标将定在5.5%左右。 Mayor Gong Zheng said the gross domestic product in Shanghai exceeded 4.3 trillion yuan(about 677 billion dollar) in 2021, and grew 8.1 percent year on year. 635,000 jobs were created. Average disposable【可支配的】income increased 8 percent. The environment also improved with PM2.5 readings【读数】averaging 27 milligrams per cubic meter, down 15.6 percent from 2020. In the fight against the pandemic, 94 percent of the city’s permanent residents, or 22 million people, have been vaccinated. 6.8 million have already gotten a booster shot. 61 kilometers of new subway track was built, bumping total Metro mileage to 831 kilometers, more than any other city in the world. For 2022, the government set the GDP growth target at 5.5 percent. Shanghai plans to create 550,000 jobs and keep the surveyed unemployment rate under 5%. To contribute to the country’s carbon reduction target, Shanghai will help 500 major energy users transition to low-emission technologies. 3,000 new electric or hydrogen buses will hit the road. Construction will begin on Metro Line 20 and major progress will be made on the Chongming Line, which will connect the island with Pudong, and the Airport Express that runs between Pudong and Hongqiao airports. Delegates in Shanghai submitted 47 bills under discussion. On parking, for example, some delegates suggest having more "breathing space" in the downtown no-parking areas because some drivers find it hard to even go to a public toilet because they can’t park their cars there. CHINA OPPOSES U.S. ALLOWING SENIOR TAIWAN OFFICIAL TO TRANSIT THROUGH U.S. 中国外交部：坚决反对台湾地区领导人**"过境"美国 Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian today(January 20) said China opposes the United States allowing a senior official of the Taiwan region to transit through the United States. Stephen Rancourt has more. 中国外交部发言人赵立坚今日（1月20日）表示， 坚决反对美国允许台湾领导人过境美国的行为。 According to media reports, Lai Ching-te was planning to transit through the U.S. en route to Honduras, where he would attend Xiomara Castro’s presidential inauguration【总统就职典礼】and might publicly interact with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris during the transit. In response, Zhao said the Chinese side has also always rejected any form of official contact between the U.S. and China’s Taiwan region. 近日有消息人士称，蔡英文拟派台湾地区副领导人赖清德，以所谓的"总统特使"身份出席洪都拉斯总统的就职典礼，并过境美国，可能与美国副总统同台出席活动。对此，赵立坚明确表示，中方一贯反对美台进行任何形式的官方往来。 Zhao Lijian, Spokesperson. TURKISH PIPELINE RESUMES OPERATIONS AFTER EXPLOSION 土耳其一油管发生爆炸 The Turkish state pipeline operator yesterday resumed the flow of crude oil【原油】through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline after an explosion in southeastern Turkey forced it to shut down for several hours. 当地时间1月18日，土耳其南部卡赫拉曼马拉什省附近的基尔库克-杰伊汉输油管道发生爆炸起火，导致石油输送中断。土耳其国家管道运营商昨日（1月19日）恢复了管道的原油运输。 The cause of the explosion is still under investigation. But local authorities are saying preliminary findings indicate the blast was triggered by an electrical tower that was toppled【倒塌】**due to severe weather.
